Open enrollment is November 1–15, 2017, and it’s your chance to learn about NetApp benefits, what’s changing and how to pick the best benefits for you. For 2018, NetApp is offering more ways to balance your life, optimize your health and support your wellbeing.

We are excited to launch our new family care leave—an innovative program that allows you to be with your family when it matters the most.

Bonding with a new child?

Caring for a family member with a serious health condition?

Starting in 2018, you can take the time you need with our new family care leave for events that occur on or after January 1, 2018.

NetApp will offer all U.S. employees up to six weeks of time off per year—paid at 100% salary—to bond with a new child, or to care for child, spouse or parent with a serious medical condition. Time off can be taken all at once or in increments of at least 1 week.

New to NetApp? Enjoy more vacation time!

Whether you are new to the work force or a seasoned veteran, time off with family and friends is valuable. And we recognize you contribute to NetApp from day one. That’s why we’re pleased to enhance the vacation accrual to three weeks per year in 2018, for a total of 15 days per year.

My Health

For 2018, NetApp will continue to offer the same medical plans, with the following changes to certain plan features:

  • The Anthem telemedicine provider is changing to LiveHealth Online (replacing MDLive)—a new way to access live, face-to-face doctor consultations, including behavioral health benefits with a psychiatrist or psychologist. It’s convenient, confidential, available 24/7 and costs the same, or less, than a regular office visit.
  • Health Savings Plan (HSP)—there are slight increases to deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums
  • Traditional Plan—there are slight increases to deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums and copays for office visits and prescription drugs
  • Kaiser California HMO—there are slight increases to copays for office visits and prescription drugs

My Wellbeing

MyCompass, powered by Jiff, is your digital sidekick in achieving total wellbeing

In 2018, we’re introducing Retrofit Healthy Living and Weight Management—holistic, personalized weight management solutions. 7-Minute Workout, also a new program, is a fast, science-based way to workout anywhere, anytime. Finally, OrderWell by Zipongo will allow you to find and order healthy meal recommendations from your favorite restaurants.

But don’t wait to participate. Check out MyCompass to explore the different programs available now. And, don’t forget—MyCompass is better together. Your spouse is also eligible to participate, and earn points and rewards (go to More menu > Spouse/+1 invitation and enter your spouse’s email address to send an invitation).
